I recently had the privilege of attending the Women in Leadership Retreat, expertly facilitated by Sally Foley-Lewis. I am so grateful to Louvreclad for recognising me as a leader, a label I’ve often hesitated to claim for myself.. Under the guidance of the amazing Sally Foley-Lewis, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and inclusivity, creating a sanctuary for open dialogue, mutual learning, and personal growth.
I feel truly inspired by the wisdom and deep sense of leadership in the room. Real conversations with an amazing group of women from diverse industries, enterprises, and backgrounds, allowed me to realise that, perhaps, I do belong in this realm of ‘Leadership’.
In the hustle and bustle of daily life, the opportunity to pause and introspect is rare. Set against the majestic backdrop of the Noosa coastline, these three days gave me permission to detach from everyday life, allowing me to focus on my personal and professional values and to contemplate the impact I can make in my current role.
I am eager to draw on this kete of knowledge and put these new skills to work!

This week, I joined the Transcend & Thrive Leadership Development Program as part of Gulf Coca-Cola Beverages (GCCB)’s Growth Festival this August. Through this program, I had the privilege to connect with fellow leaders and gain invaluable and transformative insights about self-awareness, vulnerability, empathy, and embracing change.

I also want to thank and commend Sally Foley-Lewis for her infectious enthusiasm and expertise to energize the crowd, challenge our norms, and offer us fresh perspectives to elevate our leadership capabilities.

Being able to attend/ listen to the different speakers made me realize those avenues I need to improve more to become an effective leader.

I liked it that the Muster had the option to be free. It is really great to know that there are companies who organize activities like this to really help people develop knowledge and skills that could be applied at work. I especially liked the topics on Intrapreneurialism, Self-Leadership, and Coaching. I would recommend the Muster to people who want to learn important information in a quicker way.

The types of sessions were clearly delineated and provided a great view of what was to come and what to prepare for. I did enjoy those sessions I was able to attend. Everyone was extraordinary – they provided great information and wonderful insights on the topics discussed. Speaking of which, there were quite a diverse number of topics available – wish I could have seen them all! I actually did recommend the Muster to my Supervisor, but the timing was not good for her. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants more information on how to be an outstanding leader.

I loved this retreat – it was the first leadership activity I have done that actually respects the person enough to know that before you are open and in a learning state you have to get rid of the baggage by breathing, stretching, slowing down. The balance was great.

Absolutely loved this session – always do! Sally has a knack for sharing the right pieces of knowledge and experiences for me at just the right time. Inspiring and insightful.

Thank you very much for your presentation at ECTA yesterday. It was a challenge to present both online and face to face at the same time (I presented later in the day) however you managed it beautifully! I really enjoyed it.

My colleague whispered that you look like Julia Morris 🙂 I love love love your humour! I like it so much when speakers have a sense of humour, makes the session really interesting.
